Four very
rare films for the first time digitally converted to DVD.
Never seen before footage of some of the best riders of all
time. From the European GP circuits to the famous Trans-am
series at Saddleback Park in Southern California. This DVD
is guaranteed to bring some of the greatest motocross battles
ever, directly into your living room.
Film#1. Documents
one of the most celebrated rivalries in motocross history.
Joel Robert and Torsten Hallman in a fantastic battle that goes
down to the last moto in Lansdorf Austria during the 1968 250
World Championship series. The film starts in Spain and
ends in the Austrian Alps. The deciding moment is actually
captured on film! Also featured is the very first works
Suzuki RH250 ridden by Olle Petersson. There are close up
shots of the works bikes in the pits. This is a fantastic
film that displays some of Joel Robert's and Torsten Hallman's
riding when they were on top of their game. INCREDIBLE!!!
Film #2. The
1970 250cc Italian Gran-prix. This film is shot in Italy
near the Adriatic coast on one of the most picturesque tracks in
Europe. It features both motos with Joel Robert, Sylvain
Geboers and Roger DeCoster in a three way battle. Watching
Robert on some incredible off camber downhills is simply
amazing! Also are shots of the works Suzuki's in the pits.
Film #3. 1972
International race in Holland. Features most of the factory
riders with their works bikes in a pre season race.
Sylvain Geboers, Christer Hammargren, Jaak Van Velthoven, Pierre
Karsmakers, Gerrit Wolsink and many others. Very good
racing on a very fast and rough track.
Film #4. This
film highlights the 1973 Trans-am at Saddleback. It is
narrated by Gary Bailey and the footage is fantastic!!
Both motos of the 500cc international and 250cc support race are
covered. You will see just about every World and National
Champion at the time in this one race. There are some
great shots from all over the track. You will not believe
how fast Rich Eierstedt on the very first RC250 works Honda goes
down Banzai Hill. WOW!!! Also is some footage of the
very first works RC450 Honda. If you have ever been to
Saddleback, you have to see this. It brings back many
memories. FANTASTIC!!!
