                                       Noguchi Yamaha

Mr. Noguchi seated on the right in white overalls, poses with his crew in this classic photo.

MXworksbike.com is a huge Noguchi fan. Noguchi was a small arm of the Yamaha factory racing department (similar to Mugen and Honda) and often shared many parts with the Yamaha works bikes, especially in the early years. Noguchi is mostly famous for it's power-up kits for the Yamaha enduro and MX bikes. They also made very small runs of Noguchi works bikes that were often based on pre-production Yamaha's. The bikes and kits mostly had narrow power bands and were extremely fast. The bikes also supported works suspension components and other special parts. We will feature Noguchi parts and bikes in the future. The photos here were supplied by our good friend Hisao Yoshitomo.

Inside a chaotic Noguchi works factory. Lots of really fast bikes (road race and motocross) came from this small factory.
